As we wrap up our second summer internship program at Red Oak Inventory Finance, we want to give a huge thank you to our interns, Kaylee Sterling and Brody Collins!

Your curiosity, energy, and willingness to learn made a lasting impact on our team. From day one, you stepped into meaningful work, brought fresh perspectives, and became an important part of the Red Oak family.

Round two of the program also gave us the opportunity to celebrate a special full-circle moment. Last summer, Andrew Staples was a part of our inaugural internship program. What began as a summer internship turned into a full-time career at Red Oak, where he now serves as a Management Trainee.

This summer, Andrew returned to the program, not as an intern, but as the Internship Program Coordinator, helping guide and mentor our newest interns through the same program he navigated in the summer of 2025.

Andrew’s journey is exactly what we hoped this program could create: an opportunity to learn, contribute, grow, and build a future within our industry. “Our internship program is about more than providing a summer experience. It’s about investing in the future of Red Oak and our industry. Seeing Andrew come through the program last year, transition into a full-time role, and return this year to help lead the program is a great example of what we hope to build. We’re proud of what all our interns accomplished and are excited to see where their experiences take them.” Derek Sawyer, Vice President – Finance, Red Oak Inventory Finance.

To Kaylee, Brody, and Andrew, thank you for being part of the Red Oak team! We’re incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next. This is just the beginning. We look forward to continuing to grow our internship program and investing in the next generation of talent who will help shape the future of our company
