Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and organize incoming application packages, ensure they are complete, and pull necessary reporting (credit bureaus, SOS verification, OFAC, etc.) within established timeframes.
  • Prepare and send approved legal documentation based on credit decisions while ensuring accuracy and promptness.
  • Ensure timely filing and accuracy of initial UCC filings and continuations as well as auditing UCC searches and notifications.
  • Monitor, communicate, and process conditional items for account set up. Resolve outstanding conditions, update systems to reflect file status, and inform management of any risks or incomplete conditions.
  • Handle internal system inputs and processes, including setting up new customer accounts and modifying existing customer accounts.
  • Provide quick and knowledgeable support to customers and other departments, including handling inquiries about credit submissions, data collection, financial statements, insurance requirements, and legal documentation.
  • Actively participate in a team environment to ensure clear communication and adherence to guidelines and provide general support.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree; will give consideration to non-degreed candidates with appropriate experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to learn new systems and follow structured procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in administrative, clerical, banking, or customer service roles.
  • Interest in commercial lending, equipment finance, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with document processing or office workflows.
